Our work depends on an NOSC Analyst to provide knowledge-based information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Directorate of Cyber Integration (DCI) in support of the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) in Arlington, VA.The F-35 Lightning II Program is the Department of Defense's focal point for defining affordable next generation strike aircraft weapon systems for the Navy, Air Force, Marines, and our allies. The F-35 will bring cutting-edge technologies to the battlespace of the future. The JSFs advanced airframe, autonomic logistics, avionics, propulsion systems, stealth, and firepower will ensure that the F-35 is the most affordable, lethal, supportable and survivable aircraft ever to be used by so many warfighters across the globe.HOW OUR NOSC ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Configure, perform, and analyze ACAS security scans

Create Helix/Remedy ticket, instructing System Administrators to apply security patches and/or make changes to the security configuration of the systems

Provide scan analysis, reports, and preset as needed, to support and validate IAVM and STIG compliance

Address any vulnerability findings identified as a result of DISA Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) assistance visits in the DISA Vulnerability Management System (VMS) according to severity level

Develop and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures

Upgrades and maintains ACAS environments on networked servers, workstations, and network devices

Uses Tenable products; SecurityCenter, Nessus, PVS, Nessus Manager, Nessus Agents while proactively performing monthly and targeted (asset or IAVM) security scans on all networks using the latest approved Government security scanner to determine vulnerabilities

Understanding of Security Information and Event Manager (SIEM) systems leveraging McAfee, Sentinel, or LogRythm.

May respond to computer security breaches and viruses

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required):

Security Clearance Level: Active Secret

Required Experience:

6 years of experience designing and developing organizational information systems or upgrading legacy systems, employing best practices when implementing security controls within an information system including software engineering methodologies, system/security engineering principles, secure design, secure architecture, and secure coding techniques.

Required Certifications:

DoD Manual 8140.03 (441) Network Operations Specialist – Intermediate.You need to have this certification when you walk in the door.

Education: BS or BA degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology, or relevant IT discipline. ALLOWABLE SUBSTUTION: 6 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience with an AA/AS degree.

Work Location: Onsite in Arlington VA.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
